It makes its own light
Invisible to the animals, bright as day on the screen. The spotlight stays in the truck.

The infrared throws the light. The chip rebuilds what comes back, eight frames at a time.

Left, what you actually see out there. Right, the same ground through the NIGHTREACH™ 800.
Infrared gives you the picture. CLEARSIGHT™ AI gives you a picture worth looking at: it stacks eight frames on the device, drops the sensor grain and puts the edges back, forty times a second. Switch it off and see what you would have been staring at.
CLEARSIGHT OFF
What you feel in the first five minutes, and what each piece is called.
Invisible to the animals, bright as day on the screen. The spotlight stays in the truck.
Four and a half inches, both eyes open. Hand it over without explaining a thing.
From the fence line to the far treeline, one thumb. No menus to dig through.
Whatever crossed the field at 2 a.m. is still there at breakfast. Charged over plain USB-C.
Every listing shouts a number. This one shows you what each metre gives you.
Six weeks on real ground, in real dark. This is what it did.
Measured with a tape and a stopwatch. Weather, terrain and the subject itself move every one of these numbers.
“I have carried glass that costs four times this. For spotting and for proof, it does the job.”
Every second of this was shot on the unit you are looking at.
Six ways owners put it to work.

Bought these because I was losing calves and my wife was tired of me standing at the window at two in the morning. First week I counted four coyotes working the fence about two hundred yards out. I still stand at the window. I just know what I am looking at now.

I shoot elk for a living. The whole job is seeing them without them seeing you, and a spotlight ends that conversation fast. This sits in my lap while I wait. The battery outlasts me, and I am usually out there by five.

Took me three nights to stop fighting the focus. Nobody tells you that part. Once I quit overthinking it, it clicked. Four stars because I wish someone had warned me, not because of the optics.

We boondock, which mostly means parking somewhere dark and hoping. Linda does a lap of the perimeter before bed now. Takes her two minutes and she sleeps better. So do I, mostly because she does.

Pre-dawn scouting is where I use it. Telling a doe from a buck at a hundred yards before legal light changes how I plan the whole morning. The eight hundred number is honest if you read it as detection and not as a magic trick.

Got it for my dad's birthday. He is seventy-one and told me it would be too complicated for him. He called me at eleven that night to tell me there was a fox in the back field. He has called me about that fox three more times since.

Yes. A 5W 850nm illuminator throws its own light down the field, so it never has to borrow moonlight the way passive night vision does.
It runs on the device, on every frame, with nothing to switch on and no phone to pair. It stacks eight consecutive frames and keeps only what held still, so the sensor grain drops out and the animal does not. Then it balances the near and far ends of the beam, so a close fence post stops blowing out while the treeline stays black. The section higher up lets you switch it off and see the difference.
Up to 800 meters — about 2,624 feet. That figure is detection: you know something is out there and which way it is moving. In our forty nights a deer stayed identifiable to roughly 214 m.
Fog, mist and light rain, no complaint, and ours ran through an 18 °F night. It is built for weather, not for submersion: keep it out of the lake.
Yes. 4K stills and 1080P video to onboard storage, so whatever crossed the field at 2 a.m. is still there at breakfast.
